OUTSIDE GROUPS: If you want to have a flyer approved for distribution, please follow these guidelines:
Flyers must be submitted electronically as an attachment to an email.
Send to Nancy Sayre (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Email must include: contact name, name of organization, email address, phone number.
Please include your non-profit paperwork, if you have not previously sent this information to the school district.
Make your request a minimum of 10 days in advance of desired electronic distribution.
All flyers must include this sentence in at least 12 point type:
“This is not a Maumee City School District sponsored activity.”
Write a brief description/title of your flyer. Include the following event information in the description:
what, when, where, and why for your event. Be sure to include name of sponsoring organization, desired date of electronic distribution/posting, date the event ends, and grade(s) of students to whom distribution is intended.
The district will determine if flyers are posted on Flyer Central, sent to parents electronically using our parental notification system, posted on social media sites, or a combination of distribution methods.
PROFIT MAKING ORGANIZATIONS: No materials from profit-making organizations will be distributed to students, but if your flyer is approved, you may provide 25 copies for placement in brochure/flyer racks located in school offices. Fairfield Elementary (grades K-3), Fort Miami Elementary (grades K-3), Wayne Trail Elementary (grades 4 & 5), Gateway Middle School (grades 6-8), Maumee High School (grades 9-12).
