Athletic Directory

The Maumee High School Athletic Hall of Fame has grown to include seventy-two (72) members. Short narratives describing the accomplishments of our Hall of Fame members can be accessed online by clicking here. This webpage will also provide an opportunity to retrieve the Maumee High School Athletic Hall of Fame bylaws as well as the official Hall of Fame Nomination Ballot. Please note that nominations for the Maumee High School Athletic Hall of Fame will only be accepted on this nomination ballot. Nominations for our next Hall of Fame class (2010) will be accepted until April 1, 2009. All individuals wishing to nominate worthy Maumee High School graduates are asked to download the appropriate nomination form from the before mentioned webpage or contact the Maumee Athletic Department at (419) 893-8778 to obtain a nomination ballot. The nomination ballots should then be sent to the following address: Maumee High School, Attn. Athletic Department, 1147 Saco Street, Maumee, Ohio 43537.

MHS Traditions

Purple and Gold
Purple conveys the idea of rank and authority. It denotes majesty and royalty.Our team fights under the color of purple in their conquests to win. It denotes the respect due our school faculty and classmates. Purple signifies the triumphs and leadership of Maumee High. Gold is a symbol of wealth. The wealth is the knowledge and the golden friendships found here at Maumee High School are beyond the estimation of value. Its brilliant rays shine down through the years, illuminating the memories of high, school, and reflecting the gold nuggets of understanding, guidance, and teaching which prepare us for life.

The Panther
Symbolic of Maumee High School's Spirit is the Panther, known for its alertness, agility, and cleverness. Significantly, therefore, Maumee Has chosen the panther, ever courageous in competition, as its emblem. The agility of the panther has been well shown in our past record and is dependent upon the spark and vigor of the students of Maumee High School
