Maumee Schools Foundation
The Maumee Schools Foundation is a non-profit organization formed in 1998 to enhance the educational experience of the Maumee City Schools beyond those provided by tax dollars, and to generate community involvement in the schools. Community members and Maumee alumni are the major benefactors to the Foundation.
The Maumee Schools Foundation has awarded more than 100 mini-grants to teachers and these grants have benefited thousands of students. The Foundation award college scholarships and oversees the scholarship process for several benefactors. The Foundation also gives all five Maumee schools a $.50 per student allocation to be used for annual academic awards programs.
