EQUITY, ACADEMICS, POSITIVE MENTAL HEALTH, and EXTRACURRICULAR PRIDE
EQUITY has been identified as the umbrella for all our strategic planning goals. Before our work began, we extensively surveyed the student body, staff, and parents and received input from community leaders and citizens. The collected data was analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively by professors from Bowling Green State University (BGSU) to determine statistical significance. Also at the table during the data review process was the Maumee City Schools senior leadership team in addition to two additional BGSU professors who have both researched, published, and presented around issues of racism, diversity, and equity. This data is now being used to inform and help the school district to develop a long-term professional development program that includes providing resources and training for our students, staff, parents, and the broader Maumee City Schools community to ensure we are aware of the need to provide culturally-sensitive and responsive instruction.

POSITIVE MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORTS: We will work with community partners to provide social and emotional resources and support.
EXTRA-CURRICULAR PRIDE GOAL: We will offer a variety of extra-curricular opportunities that encourage excellence and pride through high standards, hard work, and perseverance.
