All Students Can Receive Free School Lunch & Breakfast - Now Through End of 2021-22 School Year

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. Department of Agriculture has extended nationwide waivers permitting schools that are part of the federal free & reduced-price meal program to provide all students with a free breakfast and lunch every school day.  All Maumee City Schools students are able to participate, regardless of income. Parents of Maumee Virtual Participants ( MPVs) are able to pick up meals weekly on Mondays at Gateway Middle School. MVP parents need to register their children for weekly meal pickup. The Food Service Department will coordinate this directly with parents. Students attending in-person classes do not need to be registered for meals. Breakfast and lunch are available each day. Students may, of course, still pack a lunch and bring it to school.

Beverages and/or snack items that meet USDA Dietary Guidelines for Americans and USDA Smart Snacks in Schools nutrition standards are sold at each school. To see what is available by school click on the following link: Maumee City Schools Smart Snack/Beverages List
